Position Summary       
HITSS, LLC is seeking a senior level Business Analyst to formulate and define systems scope and objective based on both users needs and comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements. The business analyst works with intuitive judgment, supplying requested information and making independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work within established guidelines. Arrange special events, meetings, conferences, and working groups in accordance with the procedures and schedules set by the requestor, including notifying participants, providing agendas and directions, and offer arrangements for equipment. Experience with Financial Management system is a plus.

• Organized, detail-oriented personality with the ability to multi-task in an entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of various software types, including spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics, databases, and the functions and features of programs in each category
• Strong oral and written communication skills to summarize and share analytic insight
• Identify and document requirements for integration, development, and enhancement of solutions
• Participate in definition, design, testing, training, implementation, and support of system requirements
• Assist in planning, identification, and tracking of risks and issues
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems
• Train and mentor other BA team members in procedures and technical knowledge
• Comfort performing analyses to distill and draw out insights from complex data sources
• Ability to work well and build rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to interface with senior leadership and brief government customers
• Experience with VA financial management systems a plus

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years Business Analyst experience
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree
• Experience with the VA preferred
• Must be able to obtain a Public trust clearance
• Team player
